The time has come

The day is here

We must separate

But not forever

In the terminal

Staring soulfully

Prolonging

Heart aching

I know you must go

End things

For our sake

I need to follow

But I cannot

So for now

I will wait

 We embrace

The world fades

Around us

Nothing else matters

 The kiss

Lasts an eternal minute

Than the inevitable
